This is a video of Ellie and her friends on the ice during her school field trip. They had a blast. Ellie is in the red coat and red hat, running straight towards the camera. You can also see the pile of snow in the middle of the rink for snowball making purposes. We don't get snow around here too much, but we know how to have fun with it!

Field Trip!
Ellie's school takes fun field trips. This month's trip was to a local ice rink. The kids didn't skate, but they were given cool sliding walker thingys and were let loose on the ice. In the middle of the rink there was a pile of snow... THIS is how you entertain a bunch of kids growing up in the south!

This was almost a straight drop down.
Ellie has no fear for heights. She did not inherit that from me.
SNOW!
Once everyone's hands were cold we headed to the bouncy castles to warm up.

Soccer
Ellie started soccer this week. She loved it!

Here they are stretching. E is all the way on the right, look at that great stretching!
Then they practiced running. Check out those shin guards. At first she asked if shin guards come in pink but now she's happy to have some that match with her little friend Owen.
And FINALLY they got to kick the ball in the goal. I have no idea if she made this goal (it is hard to take non-blurry pics with a wiggly baby in a sling), but Ellie sure looks good.
We celebrated by taking the kids out for pizza.
These are a couple of the boys in Ellie's playgroup.
