This year we found a fantastic place to get our Christmas tree. We did all the fun parts (run around in the woods, find the tree, cut it down, etc) but none of the hard parts (carry the tree back to the car, prep it to go on the roof etc). They even had a campfire with marshmallows to roast served with hot chocolate and cider. We loved this place!!
Here's our tree.
We went with a Carolina Sapphire because of its amazing smell. The color was pretty cool too - it was more blue than green.

The girls need to look through every single cut-out like this that they see.
There was even a balloon guy there who made a special crown for Ellie
... and a special magic ball for Sadie. (Which she stared at for a half hour straight.)
We will definitely be back next time we need a tree!
