Around Lund in March

Just a few random pics from March.

We met Daddy for lunch at his office on a day when the girls had no school.

It snowed on the day that E's school had "dress as your favorite book character" day.

We went through a few character ideas before settling on this one.  At first we thought she'd be Pippi, but this is Sweden, after all.  There were going to be a lot of Pippi-people!  Then we thought maybe Stuart Little since that is the book we were reading that week.  But in the end, E chose a cat from a well-loved picture book, Kitten's First Full Moon.

Walking to school in the snow.  We love this walk!  E and I both look forward to our daily walk to school.  E even draws pictures of it all the time.  For most of the way we hold hands and talk.  That child can talk for an entire 15 minutes straight without stopping for air.  I love it. I get to hear so much about her life.  Sometimes she is in full serious discussion about what her favorite color is today.  And then other times she is telling me all the ways she's trying to be more principled.  Being six years old is a trip!

All ready to go to class and be a cat for the day.

With her BFF
