We pulled out of Luneburg on a quiet local train. We had the entire car to ourselves so we spread out and the girls had plenty of room to play.

Entertained girls means W and I could have a moment to sit together and have a grown up conversation.
Hello husband!
This is a new game the girls have started playing. S made it up since she's way into scooters right now. They stand on the radiator, hang on to the table and say they are riding scooters. This game can entertain for long minutes. It works on many different trains and some buses (until your mom tells you to sit down before you fall over).
This is what happens when children start to become accustomed to long-distance train travel.

Oh my! This was an unexpected treat! When W booked our tickets, he booked us under some kind of family booking. So far this had only meant we paid as a family and sat together. But on this train we had a family suite. We had our own section with a door to close us off from the rest of the train. Our section had extra seats (great for stretching out and sleeping), a large table, several games and a free children's magazine, one copy for each kid.
I took this photo from the ferry. We see windmills everywhere... I mean e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e. I love them! Around Skåne you can't go in any direction without seeing windmills every few minutes. At most, though, you'll see seven or eight, maybe ten windmills together on land. It is common to see one or two windmills by themselves. But at sea there are huge windmill farms. Wherever we cross the water, whether it is by bridge or boat, we see windmill farms off in the distance.
